Meteorite in Silver Pendant

This meteorite broke apart in the sky and landed in Argentina an estimated 4000 to 5000 years ago. It was "discovered" by the Argentinian government in 1576 after they received reports of iron fragments from local natives, who had known about the meteorite for far longer. How much longer is unknown. Each necklace will be unique as each meteorite is shaped differently.

Care and Cleaning: Avoid steam cleaning and ultrasonic systems. Simply, use soapy water and toothbrush. Silver polish cloth to shine. Keep meteorite dry to reduce the chance and amount of rust. Seal with layer of beeswax, if desired.
